2012 Seneca GSMDs make the year-end rankings

December 2012

Congrats to funny guy Cutter who earned both his majors at the Greater Clark County Kennel Club in Vancouver, WA. He went WD/BOW/BOS on Saturday and then WD/BOW/BOB to earn his first special purple and yellow ribbon to go along too  That was 7 points for the big goof! Way to go Cutter Butter!!

November 2012

Gypsy Boots and Cutter participated in an AHBA all-breeding herding trial and both were successful! Cutter earned his Junior Herd Dog (JHD) and Gypsy earned her Herding Trial Arena Dog on sheep. Good job, Kayak kids!

October 2012

Working Girl
Lyric enjoying Halloween festivities. What kid wouldn't want to go trick or treating with Lyric by their side?!
New Novice Working Pack Dog
Cutter has been busy at work with his show career, herding adventures and hiking since moving to Oregon. This October he earned his Novice Working Pack Dog title by finishing four hikes for a total of 32 miles with his partner Blake. Keep up the good work Cutter!
C&P Specialty
Mayday goes SB at the C&P Regional Specialty. There were so many lovely bitches in the entry that we were thrilled to take home a ribbon.
New Junior Herd Dog
Lyric came along with Mayday to Virginia show she could show off her herding skills. This sweet girl earned her Junior Herd Dog with ease and looked like a natural with the stock. Big thank you to Laurie Carmody for handling her!

September 2012

GSMDCA National Specialty 
Shine, Tippy, Hannah, Lyric all took the great road trip to Colorado for the GSDMCA 2012 National Specialty. Wow...is Indian far from Colorado! I had a great time visiting with old friends and new. Shine looked lovely in the best of breed competion, Tippy along with Hannah and Ally were a lovely group for the brood bitch competition and Hannah even gave a go at weight pull. I got to see Ally from my Deadliest Catch litter Jennie Chen was there with sweet Vesta who won best in Grand Futurity at the NS and also went BOS in Sweepstakes at the Independent. It was as great time for the Seneca crew! The icing on the cake was visiting with Snowball from the Aerosmith litter and his family that I hadn't seen since he went home as puppy. 
New Grand Champion & Working Group 2
Hooray! Pretty girl Shine earned her Grand Championship and a Working Group 2 in Muncie, IN

August 2012

Elgin Kennel Club show
Hannah is new champion and Shine takes a Working Group 4! Great Weekend!
Tippy's beautiful girl, Hannah, from her Deadliest Catch Litter earned her AKC Championship going WB for a major at the Elgin Kennel Club Show! 
Shine also picked up her second group placement going Best of Breed both day & Working Group 4! Thank you Judge Joan Scott!

May 2012

Mayday aka Baby Day earned her Grand Championship going BOS at the Evansville Kennel Club Show. Thank you judge Houston Clark!
New Champion Shine

Indy Winter Classic
So proud of our girl Seneca's Collective Soul "Shine". This special win at the 2012 Indy Winter Classic with Mrs. Mildred Bryant was all the more special since Shine's mommy Kayak and I earned our first major points under her back in 2007. I love Shiney Shine. Beautiful inside and out this swissy will steal your heart

I took Mayday, Hannah and Shine to the Louisville shows and all the girls were very successful over the days of showing, but most of all they had a photo shoot which resulted in these darling pictures!
Cutter Moves to Oregon With Sister Gypsy Boots
Cutter's off to the Pacific Northwest to live with his sister Gypsy Boots and Allison & Blake Allen. We'll miss having this fun boy at the farm, but know he's in store for great adventures in Oregon. He's best buddy Trick is sure going to miss him. We took a nice walk in downtown Lafayette before he left and the boys had so much fun!

Grayslake
Started the year off great with the Grayslake show in Illinois. Zippo went Best of Opposite Sex and Shine Winners Bitch. The girls had fun getting primped for ring time! Zippo's girl Indy from Explosions Litter (Rock x Zippo) was there too and it was fun to see her, she's a sweetie!
