Introducing The Canine Chronicle Challenge Statistics – Weekend Points Only
The Canine Chronicle is proud to introduce an exciting new ratings system, The Canine Chronicle Challenge Statistics. The Canine Chronicle Challenge Statistics is based on wins and points accumulated exclusively at Saturday and Sunday shows. Like other ratings systems, the Canine Chronicle Challenge Statistics includes a separate system for Breed and All Breed rankings, as well as a Top 20 Ratings System for all Groups and Amongst All Breeds.
This exciting new ratings system has been in development for over a year. The concept was developed as we feel there is a need to acknowledge the accomplishments of those exhibitors and dogs whose schedules are limited to weekend shows due to work obligations, time, budget, other commitments, or a variety of other reasons. Exhibitors who cannot attend many four- and five-day circuits of dog shows can still participate at the highest levels of competition through The Canine Chronicle Challenge Statistics. Also, exhibitors who cannot attend over 200 dog shows a year can still compete, on a level playing field, for a top ranking using this new ratings system.

September 2013
The GSMDCA National Specialty at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, MO was a memorable experience for sure! I was serving as show chair so the week kept me busy to say the least! I had a great time with friends, watching beautiful swissies, staying in darling B&B, but the highlight of my experience was getting to show Kayak! It was so fun getting show my favorite girl after all these years and she went back out in the ring like a pro and seemed to enjoy all the cheering! Ch. Painted Mtn. Kascade Rapids TT ROM "Kayak" won Best Veteran at both the National Specialty and Independent Specialty! Wow! Well, to make my smile even bigger Kayak went on to win Select Bitch under Judge Houston Clark at the National Specialty and then won Best of Opposite Sex at the Independent Specialty under judge Chris Walkowicz! Thank you so much to these judges for seeing what a special girl she is!
Castle also had an extraordinary time at the Specialty! He did us proud and came home with two majors! Seneca's Knight In Shining Armor CGC won Best Puppy at both the GSMDCA National and Independent Specialties and to make things better he won Reserve Winners Dog at the National Specialty for a 3pt major and then went on to win Winners Dog at the Independent Specialty for a 5pt major!!! It is so exciting to see him do well at such a young age, we are excited to see what the future has in store for him. A big thanks goes to Ashley Schaffter who masterfully handled him! He gave a go at herding and earned one leg towards his HCT title...he was one busy puppy!
Kayak and her grandbaby Castle celebrating their wins! Keeping it all the in the family!
July 2013And just because he so cute! Trick deserved his own spotlight! He was working it for me and Allison
