Seneca kids Shine and Castle finishing the year in style on road in Pennsylvania!
Mid-Atlantic GSMD Club Specialty - Allentown, PA On 12/11 at the all-breed Delaware Gap Kennel Club Show "Shine" BISS GCH CH Seneca's Collective Soul CGC went Best of Opposite Sex and her not so baby boy "Castle" GCH CH Seneca's Knight In Shining Armor went Select Dog. The following day at the Mid-Atlantic Greater Swiss Mtn. Dog Club Specialty at the Lehigh Valley Kennel Club Show both Shine and Castle went select -- what a great duo! On Sunday Shine finished the weekend strong winning Best of Breed with a Working Group 4 (Thank you Judge Dr. Elliot More) at the Delaware Gap Kennel Club Show with an entry of 41 GSMDs -- way to go beautiful Shiney Shine! Crooked River Weight Pull
I took Fin, Poppy and QE to Ohio for the Crooked River Swiss Club Winter Weight Pull hosted at Bob & Dawn Fralick's home (THANK YOU!). We had such a great time with the chili cook-off, toy exchange, weight pull and wonderful overall holiday cheer. Fin showed great promise as an excellent weight pulling swissy and Poppy enjoyed herself as well. Thanks to Rebecca Gray for taking so many pictures! Seneca Swissies year end showing
I had a wonderful time in Illinois at the Wheaton and Rosemont shows with my girls QE and Fin -- they are such sweeties that make wonderful travel companions! Most of all, we had a terrific time visiting with our friends over the weekend. Congrats to all the winners, but a big shout to Nathan and Tempo (Trick x Angel) on their big win on Friday and to Cathy & John Scott for finishing their boy Ace's championship. As always, big thank you to Debbie Fields for taking pictures and capturing these moments. BISS Gold GCH Seneca's Collective Soul "Shine" and GCH Seneca's Night In Shining Armor "Castle" also hit the show circuit in Cleveland and had a good four days of showing. Shine went Best of Breed three of four days and Select Bitch the other and Castle picked up three grand champion points going BOS and Select Dog. Also, shout out to our good friends Kim Woollard with Gander and Tina Bailey with Arken on their new championships earned this weekend! |

Greater Clark County Kennel Club
Gypsy Boots earned the first two legs towards her Companion Dog (CD) title at an All Breed Obedience Trial in Ridgefield, WA. Just one more leg for the title and VGS title. She can do it! Mid-Ohio Cluster
I had a wonderful time in Ohio with Fin & Pond at the Mid-Ohio Cluster. Both girls showed great for me and Fin went Winners Bitch and Best of Breed Owner Handled for 2pts on Thursday at the Sandusky Kennel Club Show and Pond went Reserve Winners Bitch to the major on Friday at Dayton Kennel Club Show. Shine also great weekend going Best of Breed and then on to a Working Group 4 on Thursday with Select Bitch Friday, Best of Opposite Saturday and then another Best of Breed win on Sunday earning Shine the final points needed for her Gold Grand Championship -- great job, Shiney! Thank you to Kim and Doug for hosting us, the girls clearly had a great time! |

Introducing Seneca's newest champion -- Rue! Ch. Seneca's Melody Of A Mockingjay finished her championship at the Valparaiso Kennel Club Show. Rue was such a natural in the show ring and made earning this title on her quick, easy and super fun!

Trick and I send big congratulations to Phreddie and Chloe Sienkewicz of Land's End Kennel to their newest champion, Blush! Ch. Land's End Still Blushing (Trick x Wink) finished her AKC championship on March 28, 2015 at the Finger Lakes Kennel Club Show. Great job, she's lovely!
Seneca's Incrediberry Bentley was able to tunnel his way out of the snow to make it to show in New York this past weekend (3/7). At the Monticello New York Kennel Club Show he went Winners Dog/Best of Winners for another three point major. Almost done! Thank you again to Kelly Nevin for getting him to the shows and for handling him!

It has been a great week for Gypsy Boots out in Oregon! She earned her CGC on 2/19 and then went on to her 2nd (2/22) and 3rd (2/23) legs along with the new title of Beginner Novice in AKC obedience. Next step now is her CD title so she can earn her Versatility Greater Swiss.
AHBA HEARTS & FLOWERS HERDING TRIAL
WTG Pacific NW Seneca Swissies Gypsy Boots & Cutter.. they spent their weekend at a herding trial working their hearts out! The news on the street is that Gypsy Boots went Combined High In trial AND earned three new titles, including her second Advanced Title -- this time on ducks!! WTG GYPSY BOOTS you are a true working beauty queen! Cutter also gave it his all and earned two new titles! Very excited for you guys! So much practice, preparation, and fitness goes into these trials! Well done. DENVER CLUSTER
Big shout out to Trick's boy Roman (Trick x Siren) who has been doing great at the Denver Cluster! Thursday he went RWD to a 5 pt major, Friday he won WD/BOW for a 5pt major and he pulled the same thing off on Sunday! Only a few points away from earning his championship! Congrats to all! The Seneca girls has a great time at the Indy Winter Classic. Shine was BOS three of the four days, Salty went RWB two days to the major and Sloane did a great job in the ring getting some more show experience -- good job girls! Congratulations to all GSMD winners, it was lovely to show with you all! Hope everyone made it home safely and see you next year. Salty and I appreciated all who took the time to say hello and she especially appreciated all the pets. Good Luck to all going to Westminster this year! Gypsy Boots earned her the first two legs towards her Rally Novice title. On Saturday she scored 90 pts & 2nd place and on Sunday scored 93 and 1st place!

I had a wonderful time in Illinois at the Elgin Kennel Club show, so many lovely GSMDs and most of all great people! Big congrats to the two new championships earned over the weekend to Amy Neal & Kim Woollard and their girl Rye and to Cathy Scott & Betsy Duke and their boy Cedar!

The girls and I had a great time breaking in the new minivan on a road trip to Lima for the weekend! Thanks, Mom for coming along to help! QE (Recon x Zippo) and Fin were troopers despite the rainy weather and both had a great time.

March 2015Thank you to breed and group Judge Clay Coady for giving Silver GCh. Seneca's Collective Soul CGC "Shine" her second Working Group 2 placement at the Cary Kennel Club Show in Raleigh, NC! At the five day cluster Shine went Best of Breed three of the five days along with BOS & SB the other days. I am so proud of her accomplishment! LAKE SHORE WEIGHT PULL
Pippi (Roy x Zippo), attended her first weight pull at the Lake Shore GSMD Club's Winter Weight Pull. Pippi took a couple tries to get the hang of it, but ended up pulling 505 lbs earning 3rd place in the 90-109 weight class.
